this is the first hurricane to actually hurt me truly. ive never cried over a natural disaster at my house because my house was always safe. i had to be evacuated on a boat as water was rushing into my house. i had to leave with the clothes on me and a trash bag with as much of my belongings as i could carry. we had to carry my dog sobbing through waist deep water. i had to carry my best friends ashes with me as my house is ruined. this sh is serious.
